and Curator
Since the beginning of my career, I have been devoted to the field of art and cultural exchange—work that I consider not just a profession, but a lifelong mission. In recent years, I have been active across the coastal regions of Southern China and Southeast Asia (ASEAN). I currently serve as Creative Director at Alluci Studio in Singapore and AOTUQIE Creative in China, while also working with the Yeo Khee Lim Teochew Cultural Research Centre in Singapore on research and digital heritage projects. At the same time, I am pursuing studies in Arts Management and Southeast Asian local cultures at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore.
Since 2022, I have developed a deep interest in the diverse cultural spheres of Asia—cultures shaped by the monsoon belt and the Maritime Silk Road, independent yet interconnected. My exploration began with the Chinese community in Singapore, observing how Chinese culture interacts with and evolves alongside the cultures of the Malay Archipelago and the Indian Ocean. I am driven by questions about the mobility of traditional cultures in the age of globalization, and how cultural sustainability can be reimagined through the perspectives of younger generations and international exchange.
During this journey, I founded the non-profit organization Escape Art Club, which has collaborated with local museums, art institutions, and community groups in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Chaozhou, Shantou, Shanghai, Singapore, and Central Java, Indonesia. We curate and organize interdisciplinary cultural and artistic programs aimed at fostering dialogue and collaboration among young people from different cultural backgrounds. Over the past few years, we have organized around 50 such events.
I deeply believe that “most wars and hatred in this world stem from a lack of understanding between people.” As a new generation growing up in an age of global connectivity and digital access, we should take the initiative to meet, communicate, understand, and befriend one another across boundaries of ethnicity, religion, and politics. Let friendship dissolve hatred—gently, in our generation.
With this belief, I will continue to explore further, carrying these values into the future and into every journey that lies ahead.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Chian-Teochew Runway Art Club, Director 2022 - Present
Runway Art Collective (RAC) is a nonprofit organization initiated in Chaozhou in 2022 by a group of young people from different cultural backgrounds, passionate about art and local culture. We are dedicated to promoting local and ethnic art and culture, injecting youth and possibilities into the development of local culture and arts from an international perspective, while protecting the uniqueness and diversity of local cultures. We advocate the concept of “co-creating with society,” practicing this through four pillars: aesthetic education, community building, social linkage, and exhibition education, aiming to build a more inclusive and diverse local innovation ecosystem.

Lead of City Escape Creative Market – Chief Planner – 2023
• This event included a creative market, art workshops, exhibitions, film screenings, cultural salons, and a jazz concert.
• Responsible for team management, event planning, creative direction, PR, and marketing.

“Tree at the Village Foot” Rural Revitalization Project – Chief Planner – 2023 to Present
• This is an ongoing rural revitalization project focusing on the protection and functional revitalization of traditional architectural spaces in natural ancient villages that have become “urban villages” in the urbanization process, as well as the exploration and transformation of local culture.
• I organized and planned a solo exhibition for local illustrators, a cross-border rock band performance with inheritors of the intangible cultural heritage of “Chaozhou Songbooks,” a sharing session by local historians, and a screening of a local nature documentary.
• Conducted in-depth research in the birthplace of the She ethnic group “Li Gong Keng” and organized “The Eyes of the She People” aesthetic education workshops for the local left-behind children.
“From Words to Freedom – Writing in Chaozhou” Special Exhibition – Co-organizer – 2024
• This exhibition was hosted by Chaozhou Art Museum and co-organized by Runaway Art Collective. I organized multiple City Walk events to collect local writings and researched the stories behind the writings.
• Responsible for curating the local writing section.

EAC-SG focuses on local culture and arts in Singapore and Southeast Asia. Based in Singapore, we promote cross-regional and cross-cultural exchanges under the concept of “mutual beauty and harmony.” We advocate the “co-creating with society” concept, aiming to build a more inclusive and diverse local innovation ecosystem through aesthetic education, community building, social linkage, and exhibition education, empowering communities through art and bringing local culture into modern life.
